Post YOUR Photos Here? But how? DVS suggested that we move from showcase to this board so we can post members' pics etc. Could someone explain how we can display our photos here?

When making a post, you can click the Img button, and then paste the url to your picture, and click the Img button again to close the link.

Everyone needing somewhere to host their pictures are welcome to upload them via the gallery, using the username "vtp" and password "free" (without the "quotes" ).

You can't be shy when you've done modeling work! I would use a pro photo but I don't want any angry photographers, I took that one myself with a digicam and an outstretched arm. Is that pic working for you guys? It showed up when I first posted it, but then when I left the site and came back it was just a square, but when I right clicked on it and chose 'view picture' it was there again, bizarre. Just in case, and for fun, I'll go ahead and throw a pro pic in anyway, it's too small to offend the photographer I'm sure. This is also a great example of why Siouxsie Sioux is my avatar, note a certain resemblance

Damn, it's even worse when I try it in internet explorer, maybe the site I'm hosted on doesn't allow remote linking somehow? I had this problem on another forum. I'll try cat-dogs advice on uploading to his server, see what that does... NO ONE'S ASKED ABOUT MY ART waah

Well I was smart enough to log into the gallery, but I couldn't figure out how to upload my pictures anyway- and I would rather have it be in a sub gallery, I don't feel right putting my sorry hide up with all of the celebrity and clubbing shots! Maybe I'll look-see if I've got any pics up in my sister's gallery... meanwhile here's the mini gallery link that has the images I was trying to use to begin with (feast your eyes, there's a whole whopping 3 pictures) obviously I set this up for a different forum but it's still me!

OK, I'm seeing my mushroom painting in Internet Explorer now, I think that the other site (Webshots, run by AOL those fascist bastards) just has code that prevents using their site to host photos. The link to the thumbnails should still work though.

It's a 3ft X 4ft acrylic painting on stretched canvas. You can see very little of the actual detail there. THIS is what one of my drawings looks like (thought I'd get two birds stoned at once, both of the female images in this are self portraiture-except of course the nude which comes from a Dali painting)
