I live in a little dead village/town called Nantyglo an ex mining and steel town.

Okay Kitty, I promised you some pictures of Oregon so here it goes. I totally forgot about this thread but remembered it once I found out some other things about my ancestory. So here goes nothing.

The pictures are of as follows:

1. The Three Sisters, located in the Cascade Mountains, great fishing up there.

2. The Columbia River Gorge, looking at Crown Point.

3. The Beautiful Oregon Coast, at Ecola Beach

4. Mt Hood in the Cascades, looking from Lost Lake. Mt Hood is the second most climbed peak in the world. Mt Fuji in Japan is Number One.

I was born in Canada but we come from Killarney in the south, and my grandmother comes from the north.

My mothers side comes from Scotland but is half Irish not sure what part though.

Here's downtown Northampton, Massachusetts, and the bike path next to my house. I live in a nice little(80,000 people) city on the western coast of Denmark called Esbjerg(the "j" is silent). We are on the North Sea and up until Roadtriprob joined I had the distinction of being the member furthest north.

south park made an episode about him cause trey & matt where invited to the premiere of his cd at his home. And totally got the evil Eye and where even booed out after they mentioned something not brownnouse like about the music .. One of the finer comentary moments on the south park dvds

I was born in Middlesborough, but I have no memory of it. My biological idiot still lives there but I have no interest in going I suppose.

I'm 30 min south of Ottawa right now. Cute little town (not Ottawa) lol. Ottawa is big and clean! Ask Shake he can give you better details I think he lives right downtown.

This is Ottawa West, Westboro Beach. I moved there when I was 14 and met hubby there. I won't tell you what else I did there well out of respect ya know...

The first  picture that TC posted doesn't really do justice to the great face in the mountains. Ubove the fish boat , the peaks form the face of an old man ! Much better if viewed from Gibsons , and from there the peaks to the  north (left) , only partialy visible in that pic , form the face of a "Nerd"  :lol:
