my summer will probably officially start on 6july although i dont really have vacation time il be going to a festival then in our most picturesque town Brugge too see CAKE! preform

Last night, I finally went on the hot air balloon ride that I talk about on the first page of this topic (started 2 years ago!). Each time we made the reservation, the weather was unco-operative & the flight was cancelled. It was well worth the wait! It was amazing! At it's highest we were around 2000 feet in the air. The only drawback was the heat; the weather was hot & the heat from the flame was deadly. Here are a few pictures! The last one was taken from inside the basket after we landed & it was tipped onto its side so that we could get out.

In the 5th picture, you can just make out the second balloon that took off shortly after ours was in the air.

I spent a very pleasant 10/11 days in Ontario. I visited Toronto and took a trip up to Owen Sound and the Bruce Peninsula. Some amazing scenery was the Niagara Escarpment.

The Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Reserve is situated in the Canadian province of Ontario. The biosphere reserve stretches 725 km from Lake Ontario (near Niagara Falls) to the tip of the Bruce Peninsula (between Georgian Bay and Lake Huron). Much of the Escarpment corridor is forested and crosses two major biomes: boreal needle leaf forests in the north and temperate broadleaf forests in the south. The biosphere reserve also includes wetland complexes, cliff faces, slopes and aquatic ecosystems.

I go on vacation starting on the 19th. The whiskey bottles will be flying through the air at the neighbours kids like bombs over some country I will not name in fear of starting a political debate I am currently too drunk to get into.

Gonna be doing some camping, and having a big bonfire, where I will be shooting off some.. *ahem* illegal fireworks... at the neighbours kids, and some fixer-uppers around the house (BORING) but, to make it exciting, I will probably be drunk and have no pants on while completing those fixer-uppers.

Big weekend here in Brockville starting tomorrow.  Ribfest is in town (pork), the annual poker run power boat race is coming through Saturday (horsepower), we got a buskers festival all day Saturday (geeks), and a pro wrestling demonstration with some local chumps (testosterone).  Put it all together, and I'm gonna have a busy Saturday. 

My official parental leave is done tomorrow so back to work on monday (which just happens to be my Birfday).

I believe "Ribfest" with the word (pork) is a pretty good indication of what is going on. I am worried that the word "testosterone" was used in the same post. :? He did also say "the annual poker run". That's a bit dirty. :perv1:

Well, the only black guy I know here in town is moving away to another job in September so I hope the boys will get together and head to the "ladies" that get naked for loonies.  Going away parties are just as good as bachelor parties.
