Okay, D69, let us know if those supplements help - I'm starting taking them right away. I really need my weed, for so many good reasons. For example, I have a bad back, and not too long ago I was so sick for a week I could not smoke weed - damned my back hurt 10 times worse without pot, no lie!

weed-o-matic cheers!

Well so far my condition is pretty good. I just need to tackle the weight issues. I have been going to the gym 5 days a week. and have cut back on all the bad food I used to eat. But I refuse to cut anything completly out of my diet!! I love pasta way too much!!! So I have been thinking about doing body buliding- not full out just enough to have some good definition. This will be hard work, but I willing to try it.

I want to believe

Hmm I'm gonna do the oposite today and stay positive lmao...

I lost 50lbs since my last child was born,
reciently I notice my double chin was going single again
my knees don't hurt as much
I have very cute ears
but yet I still hate toe nails
and some people pay money to have fat lips like mine

Thats positive right?
I don't regret what I haven't done yet...

Fuck I've been so sick for 12 days now. I keep expecting to get better , but so far no luck. My symptoms have gone from headach , all over muscle ach ,fever, vomiting, fatigue , and constant yellow and orange goop coming outta my nose. I have been literally filling a tissue every 15 minutes or less , except when I'm fitfully sleeping . At one point ,  2 days ago , I was blowing my nose productivly every 30 seconds for 1/2 hour!!!! The phlegm  started coming outta my lungs 3 day ago , and my sternum is aching from the coughing. My nose is raw. The boys got it , but recovered . Then the little one (6) came down with an ear infection and fever this morning , and luckilly the clinic was open and rushed him in. I've been careing for him while the wife entertains the older one . Luckilly the 2 ladies have escaped it , makeing their exams go smoother , and our daughter will be able to compete in a dance competition tomorrow. I'm not a going to the DR. kinda guy , but I do have an appointement for monday morning. 2 weeks of feeling like I got beat up by a samsquamch is too much for me, I can't remember the last time I was this sick.......

I've had a sinus infection for 3 years now, give or take a few months. Back when I had a job(before I moved)I'd wake up at 4:45am, wash down a couple of Tylenol Sinus or Sudafed Sinus with some strong coffee, take a hot shower and then get to the regional airport at 6am to unload a plane. By the time I was done unloading the plane my blood would be pumping and the sinus headache would be gone(or ignored/forgotten).
Now that I'm an unemployed bum the blood doesn't get flowing in the morning like it used to. I'm not one to go to the doctor unless I'm dying or have broken or missing limbs. Mostly because going to the doctor in the US is a fucking nightmare.

Although I have been a regular drinker from a very early age (5), and a heavy pot smoker from the age of 16, my liver and lungs have been annually assessed as "perfect" by my doctors, who also insist I am not an alcoholic!

MY GOD you're a fucken warrior aren't you!  Drinking since AGE 5 and pot smoker since 16...wow that's crazy!! You're like superman or something lol!

Been 3 weeks now , and still sick . My ear has been full of fluid for 6 days now , not hurting but uncomfortable. I saw the Doc last monday , and he said to do salt water nasal flushes. Sounds nasty , but it sure gets more goop outta there. I'm still coughing and blowing crap outta me like crazy. He said that it was probably viral , so no need for antibiotics , but gave me a Rx for some anyways , just in case it got worse. I went to the pharmacy a few days ago and filled that prescription , but it isn't working , so I figure the doc was right .

On top of that , I bit my tongue yesterday. Bled like crazy! Now theres a nasty lump (not infected though) . The curse of the unusually huge tongue strikes again...I wonder , do they do tongue reduction surgeries ?   ;)

Boy Howdy, I think they do, Saucy.  I can say that because I've dated a few men who must have had such an operation.   :perv1:

Sorry to hear you're not feeling so well.  I'm sending good vibes in a westerly direction ... you should receive them soon if the wind co-operates.

Cheers,
B.

I had a nice, new whiny complaint in this thread - guess it was lost in the recent 3-day post&pm disappearance? What I was cryin about was that when I visited my doctor last week she told me I have to go to some fackin "sleep clinic" and spend the night so they can gimme an official diagnosis of "sleep apnea" and thus be able to provide me with some contraption to keep the soft palate (which gets thicker and lazier as we age) from sealing my wind-pipe at night.

Also she said my fackin blood pressure is 159/90 , and that both of these lousy thangs are caused or aggravated by my liquid hobby - so now I've been limiting my self to 2 drinks per night -as opposed to the usual 14 or 15 - and I of course I am feelin better - gotta see the doc again on Thursday. Hope I can find some way to get the anti apnea device without havin to spend the night hooked up to tubes in some weird overnight clinic!!!!!

what a drag it is growing old cheers!

My mother in law has sleep apnea.  She started off wearing a gas mask looking thing but now just wears a tube with two nostril pieces like a hospital would have for oxygen.

Called her Darth Vader for a while.

I dunno if I could sleep with somethin like that strapped to my face.. I'd go nuts... ever since I lost a few pounds I don't snore anymore so I'd say the 230 lb limit is as high as I can go before apnea starts happening with me...

I've had 3 heart attacks, one killed me but they zapped my ass back to life, the 2nd one killed off 1/3 of my heart and the 3rd one they finally decided I needed a triple bypass.  this was all in the space of a week.  Had the bypass on Christmas Day in 2003.  I was only 35 when this happened and I was pushing 242 pounds at the time and only 5' 6'... But I'm fucked for the rest of my life now cuz of all the damage the heart took.... Causes you ask?  Smoking #1.  Stress #2.  No exercise #3 and bad diet #4.  Bad diet meaning, the same shit we ALL eat (or at least most of us).

So if someone was to ask me how to prevent this shit from happening to them I'd say quit smoking cigarettes.  A joint a day aint gonna kill nobody.. I've been told that by a couple doctors. Another thing is stay active.  Those of you who go for walks and shit are doing the right thing.. ya gotta have cardio in your life.  They say only a 1/2 hour every day will do wonders!  I met real skinny fuckers in the hospital who had heart attacks but they never worked out, they smoked and they ate SHIT all the time so don't look at yourself in the mirror or the scales and think everything is fine.

You need to have a STRESS TEST.  This is the only way to determine if your heart is on it's way to a major fuck up.  Your doctor hooking up an ECG and taking your blood pressure and listening to heart pound doesn't mean SHIT.  It MIGHT show some problems.  If your doctor detects them with those methods, you're WELL on your way to a heart attack.  A stress test will reveal all.  They hook a shitload of leads to your body and put you on a treadmill and gradually make the test harder and harder til ya can't do it anymore.  They also do a bunch of other test and this is what determines your actual heart health.  At the end, they can tell you at what age your heart is functioning and according to my doctor, I'm 85 years old.  Not bad for a 37 year old eh?  We're ALL being attacked by heart disease and I'm sure DAF will tell you the same thing.  They're finding heart disease in KIDS now and it's all due to lifestyle.

Oh... Saucy.. if you STILL haven't kicked that cold try Oil of Oregano.  That stuff will kick the fuck outta any virus!!  Just a couple drops under the tongue, hold it there as long as you can and repeat that every few hours. I can almost gaurantee you'll kick that virus in no time.  That's why they charge $30 a bottle!  It's REALLY harsh so make sure you have something there to wash it down with!
