Also, there WILL be a season six, although I am not sure how many episodes are going to be shot.  This will be determined by the TPB Movie shoot.  If shooting the movie ends up taking more time, then it's possible we may have a condensed season for season six (maybe only 7-8 episodes).

Cool Pookster.  I heard the same thing, only that there will only be six episodes for season 6.

Julian:  Does it say anything about you rippin' off insurance companies, pretending you're in a wheelchair, then gettin' caught, drunk, dancin' with ho's, makin' porn flicks, huh?  Anything in your book about that, Ray?

Ray:  It's open to interpretations, Julian, it's the Bible.

THAT is possl'y the BEST exchange I've ever heard on the TPB's LOL!  Just watched the ep quickly this morning - have to go to a client meeting now.  I'll post my complete inmpressions later.

I thought I read somewhere before the season starts that a regular leaves the show.  We all thought it would be one of the girls but maybe Rick's appliance does him in.  Would hate to see it happen.

Well I think it's a given that Mike C wouldn't kill off one of the 3 main characters of the show

No way would they kill of Ricky, I think it would be funny if Phill died, considering he just started the reoccuring role this season. I personally don't want to see any characters go but I could live with either T. or DVS leving, I like them both but better them then any others, in my opinion

Nah... They wouldn't kill off one of our main boys. My friends are trying to scare me. Telling me that somethings gonna happen to Mr. lahey and he'll be gone. I doubt it... but it's a scary thought.

Watched the episode this morning after getting home from nights, so I didn't pick up on everything. I thought it was a really good episode, I laughed at quite a few points, plus were're finally getting to the main story of how they're going to get rid of the driveway. I think Ricky will end up in jail, but as someone said in an earlier thread, he'll end up in the hospital ward. Lahey playing on Bubbles' & Ricky's superstitions was great, he knows how to get in their heads (I guess the liquor really does make him see things clearly). Am I the only one who thinks the girl in shop class looks like Shelly Duvall (from the Shining)? She kinda creeped me out. I'll watch the episode again tonight so I can pick up on more.

I only had a chance to watch e7 once, but I really laughed at Ricky stealing the tools and stuff from the shop class.  Lots of posts about Ricky's impending heart attack.  I guess he's gonna have one, or maybe he fakes one to get out of shit with the cops or Lahey.

Does anyone think it is a bit forced, how they seem to be tryign to work in the title of the show many times during the eppy?

The exchange with Julian and Ray on the Bible was a classic!

When watching the show, I was struck by the fact that they were selling the hash for only $8 Cdn per gram. A tad low IMO, but that's the way she fuckin goes I guess.

Also, I *loved* the school break in sequence. To me, it had a very Blair Wicth feel to it. Almost a bit horror movieish, if you will. Ricky getting creeped out like Bubbles (shithawks flying around and shitropes coming after me) was pretty neat.

Oh yeah; Julian letting Ray stay in jail a little longer so he could scrape up the $ to get his trailer back was pretty greasy :)

Why is bubbles sleeping in the back seat of the shit mobile?  Hasn't trinity took all the bottles out of his shed.  There's no way that sleeping with your head on the car door is more comfy than sleeping in  a shed.

He was sleeping in his shed, so the Shit machine gun is right, there is no reason for Bubbs to be sleeping in the shitmobile.

To the people who download the episodes: SHARE GOD DAMMIT. When I started downloading there were numerous seeders (people sharing full copies of the file) and now after two hours there's only one person seeding and two hundred people queued up with 60% completed or less.

IF YOU DON'T SHARE, THE SYSTEM DOESN'T WORK

You're not directly paying any money for this, you could at least do your part by helping to distribute until there's a decent amount of people that have it.

My explaination about why Bubs was sleeping in the shit mobile was that Bubbles was probably still scared about the shit winds, so he decieded to sleep in the shit mobile with Rick, (similar to when Bubbles was scared in Steve French ep.)

Thats my interpretation!

I am not sure about anyone else, but I think that Lahey is pushing the "shit-talk" a little too much this season.. It's still funny, but if it keeps up like this, it will lose alot of its humour.

When the episode ended it felt very abrupt to me. Like it was only half way through the story and then cue the music. A very strange episode. I'll have to watch it again. Jool's is laying alot of F bombs in this one. As many as Lahey's shits.

I laughed at Ricky's interview and the edit to the jacket right after he asked for the Grade 10 patch. I love when Ricky throws shit. Any shit. The "Ray" bottle and the lawnchair.

The cop scene was pretty funny. Didn't you feel like you were in the backseat ?? Reminded me of parking with my friends getting high at night at the end of some street.

It's all good. But the beat was way different in this one. They get more desperate as each episode unfolds. Bubbs even went back to fixing carts. Probably so he could eat instead of just dreaming about it.

Mr. Lahey in the rear view mirror was hysterical.
And Jool's telling Mr. Lahey "Don't fuck with me Jim"....looking really good there. Angels ??? Agree or Disagree?
You might be sexy Julian....but you can't teach me anything about liquor....

the whole shit winds scene startin with lahey showing up in the mirror is defently one for in the tpb books! really classic scene and very well brought , the fear on bubbles face was hystarical :)

dunsworth and smith should get an emmy for it :) or something simular

and yeah ricky trowing stuff ,breakin cop car doors, smashing birdhouses, trowing stuff at lahey , covering randy in musterd, falling down...
always made the show look really greassy and chaotic
it really is what makes ricky the best character in the show imo

that and his fuck off mentality (my favorite season final is still the one of s3 where ricky tries to go to jail and ends up being trailer park supervisor)

altough this season they really show the stupid side really well imo , another hilarious feature :)

Well spotted sarge :-)
Shit machine gun alluded to it too, with his "plot development" line !
It did end rather abrubtly, season 5 differs from previous seasons in that they are continuing the story line .

Unless im wrong that did'nt really happen in previous season's to the extent that it's happening in S5.
Previous season's pretty much wrapped it up at the end of each episode , you could watch any eposode in any order , and not miss much .
Sure there was plot lines that ran across the season ( Freedom 35 for one) but each episode was not as dependant on the plot line as this one is .

Not so with this season it's more of a "stay tuned to find out what happen's next" type vibe about it.
You could not watch , for example this episode and figure it out , had you not watched all pervious episodes in S5.

From seaaon 1 too S 4 you could watch any episode never having watched it before and really not have a problem.

Now i ain't complaining , it's great , does no one else see that or am i just nut's :-)
Don't matter how little you know, someone out there know's even less !

I think Ricky's interview was the best part!
