LOCO, do you mean the whole show in general, or a particular episode? Can you elaborate on your procaimation? This isn't my favourite show, but I do like to watch it. I like it because it is very interesting, complex & mysterious; one of the reasons it is not my favourite show is because if you miss a show or two, you're often confused the next show you can catch.

The show had a lot of potential in the first season but now it just goes no where and lets me down every single week. How much more useless back story do we need on people?

It gets worse , they're replaying the pilot tonight!

I do enjoy the show though , mostly 'cuz I've been sucked in by it  :?

Loco, it wouldn't be much of a show if they solved every question in the first season.  They aren't planning on ending it any time soon, so why not drag it out.

The days of having single show arcs are going by the wayside.  Even the CSI's are having evolving storylines.

Lost is very good in my opinion, but I need new episodes to keep my interest peeked.

I agree, it was  good show tonight. We learned that Rousseau (?) is not the bad crazy woman that  we thought she was.  I wonder what Echo is going to do in regards to the prisoner.  I could believe that Locke was manipulated by the guy.
On Tv Tome Lost board they were talking about the Prisoner, and how his name is the name of Dorothy's uncle in Wizard of Oz, Henry Gale.  Also, Henry travelled to  Island via Hot air balloon, as did the wizard,  Strange!

Great episode! Sawyers new glasses cracked me up!!

Here ya go, SMG...from TV.com

Episode: Raised By Another
Claire has a horribly realistic nightmare about her new baby being harmed or kidnapped. Flashbacks reveal Claire's backstory: the former boyfriend who got her pregnant, then abandoned her, and the psychic who convinced her to take the ill-fated flight that landed her on the island. Hurley is shocked and confused when he discovers that Ethan Rom (guest-star William Mapother), another plane crash survivor, does not appear on the flight manifest.

Episode: All the Best Cowboys Have a Daddy
Survivors wonder why Charlie and Claire have been abducted - and by whom - and a search party ventures into the treacherous jungle to look for the pair. Suspicions focus on Ethan Rom (guest-star William Mapother), who, it was recently discovered, was not a passenger on the doomed flight. Jack battles inner demons relating to his father, while Boone and Locke discover another island mystery.

Episode: Homecoming
After the missing Claire returns with no recollection of what has happened since before she boarded the doomed Oceanic flight 815, Jack and Locke formulate a plan of defense against her kidnapper, the mysterious Ethan (guest-star William Mapother), who threatens to kill off the other survivors one by one unless Claire is returned to him. Meanwhile, the disappointment Charlie feels when Claire does not remember him triggers recollections of a woman he had let down in the past.

Episode: Outlaws
Kate and Sawyer divulge dark secrets to each other while tracking a renegade boar that Sawyer swears is purposely harassing him. Hurley and Sayid worry that Charlie is losing it after facing a brush with death and killing Ethan with 6 bullets to the chest. A shocking prior connection between Sawyer and Jack is revealed in a flashback which shows Sawyer meeting Jack's father in a bar. Robert Patrick ("Terminator 2: Judgment Day," "The X-File") guest stars.

"It doesn't hurt to do something absolutely outrageous."

DirtyD you are the best.
I still guess I haven't seen all of season 1.  I thought I have but I guess not.
That explains a bit.  I didn't remember Charlie and claire being kidnapped.

You get an A+

I happen to love the show lost, never did watch it at first on TV but I ended up downloading all the  seasons and watched it all at once! Although there are some weird and crazy things happen on it like the black smoke and the giant attack polar bears, it is great once you watch it all the time.
I think the whole point of the story not sticking the same story line every week. Is to keep there fans watching cause eventually they will get back to what got you watching in the first place.
I just watched the last episode speaking of this and Aaron is like 4 months old now and they finally are getting back to Claire being kidnapped, while pregant to tell us FINALLY what really happened!
As for Rousseau, can you blame her for being a little on the nutty side, I mean she has lost her husband and her daughter (who we now know is still alive) and all her science friends, and has been in complete solitude for way to long!
The big question, is Hurley going to hook up with the clinical psyc chick or what!! And for the ladies, Sawyer or Jack??

Cheers,

Schooner Pixie

Ok im convinced too

Just done watching ep 15 . Started this monday after DD and almost everyone i know told me too watch it for months. And although some moments are hilariously over the top the main story lines and characters sure are getting more intruiging with every episode.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck, / Mother, mother fuck, / Mother, mother fuck, fuck / Mother fuck, mother fuck, / Noich noich noich, / 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, / Noich, noich noich / Smokin' weed, smokin' wizz, / Doin' coke, drinkin' beers, / Drinkin' beers, beers, beers, / Rollin' fattys, smokin' blunts, / Who smokes the blunts? / We smoke the blunts."

Very nice pic, D! Anytime you get bored and want to post some shirtless Sawyer pics, feel free.

A random Lost thought...

What would the suspenseful music instrument-of-choice be if the trombone did not exist?

I think you need to send the answer to that question to the creators of lost , not post it here.

Or in other words i think that was a rhetorical question ;)   :beating: :P

Hilarious suspens sound though with every lil plot twist , almost sounds like a truckers horn too me
