I just read the Fark discussion board on the show but I didn't follow it all year.  Sounds like the finale was a cliff (or hole)hanger.

I've been drifting in and out of the story all year, I do like the show, but it seemed that sometimes nothing really happened. Anyway, I did see the finale, and I also freaked out when they took Walt (I totally called it that the boat on the RADAR would be bad news, is there ever good news for these poor folks?), & when they showed the Madonna statue in Charlie's backpack.

Yeah, it's one of those shows that needs to be watched from the very beginning. The 1st Season will be available on DVD 09/06/05. I thought the finale was awesome. I kind of knew that guy was going to accidentally blow himself up with the dynamite (he was expenable like the extra crew members on Star Trek.) I had a theory that the rescue boat would be "pirates" but I was completely shocked when they took Walt.

Favorite characters?

I had a theory that the rescue boat would be "pirates" but I was completely shocked when they took Walt.

They weren't pirates,  they were "The Others",  and Walt was "The Boy" they were looking for,  not Claires Baby like the rest thought.

Good Morning America had a really cool "Lost" deleted scene that wasn't shown on the finale,  in it Charlie was talking to Claire about the French woman(How he thinks she is totally crazy) and Claire tells him that she didn't name the baby because she had a feeling that "The Others" were coming back for it.
I have a feeling that the "Hatch" was an Exit to something really big.
My theory on the whole show was that they were stranded in like a black hole or something.

It's really not a show for people with short attention spans.

I just watched the finale and it was a nice cliff hanger.

It didn't really answer too many questions but it did leave a lot for the next season.

I think the entire season is going to be on ABC this summer, wednesdays at 10pm so anyone who didn't get to see it will be able to.  I think I'll make it something to watch.

Those fucking numbers are filthy.  It's really freaking the Dude out.

Couldn't really figure it out , but am intregued enough to watch the whole season when abc replays it. (Thanks for that)

4-8-15-16-23-42

This is the best show I've ever seen, and I don't know owns lost in canada (global maybe)? but ABC is rerunning the finale tonight.

I'm such a nerd for lost, and I do know that according to all the writers "23" is the number to look out for the most in the lost mythology of things, and the fact that its flight 815 8+15=23 just jumped out at me the other day.

The show is the biggest cocktease (for lack of a better term) but its worth it, the only way it would be better is if it were held at the Blanchford Recreation Center
Can't think of anything clever to say...yet

I've watched every single episode and I think it's an AMAZING show. The final episode was a huge cliff hanger, how are the guys on the raft going to get back ot the island? There are waaaaay to many questions that need to be answered, the show just didn't leave us with a cliff hanger ending, it didn't asnwer some of the questiosn that it posed threw out the season.

Can't wait until next season, this show is my second favourite, right behind TPB

We do get ABC on basic cable here.

So what or who are the "Others" ,and what do they do to the survivors.
I guess I need to watch the whole season , but will I still be in the dark?

The beauty of Lost is that while it relies heavily on continuity, you can still jump in at any point. I got in late and was able to catch up with all the episodes via torrents.

Do what you have to, its worth it. I'd love to answer your questions, but like any other venue in life, its much more fulfilling seeking them out yourself, and Lost is the epitome of this age old theory.

You'll enjoy, I promise...just check out tvtorrents.com

We still don't know who the others are. And do you really want me to ruin it and tell you what they do to them threwout the season or are you going to watch it?
