The colors are almost like my dog, Chip.  He is part Roti.

My cat must really not want us to go to Halifax. She's just pissed in my rolling duffel bag. Thankfully, it was empty and we have a backup bag. Good times.

Speaking of pets having babies...I bought two hamsters week before last that were both apparantley male.... I came home from work today to find a little pink pile of baby hamsters in the cage! Luckily I had a second cage sitting around, cus the hamster that was male was eating the babies! Good thing is though it looks like about 6 of the babies are going to live, and Petland is gonna give me $20 a pop for em cus it was their fuckup!  :D

Catalina was very happy to have us back from Halifax. Those are my new Junk and Foibles and Sunnyvale Trailer Park t shirts she's laying on. Melba, as you can see, your disco balls were a big hit.

Damn , I kept expecting something to jump outta that cat's mouth.

Pushkins is the young sassy male (orange and white), and Budsie is the old granny cat. We renamed her from Buds. My sister in law named her when she was a drugged out teen living here . We got the cat with the house , but I have since tamed her ( she was almost wild before). The other cat that she named was "Trips"  (long since buried under the plum tree). She was doing a lot of LSD back then.......

I found a stray on the street. He is a little pathetic and likes to jump up on the counter and pick up knives. Little scamp.

Last night my cat Charlie had somehow gotten outside and stayed out all night.  I didn't realize that he was missing, until this morning.  My brother had told me that he heard him around 4am, but couldn't catch him to bring him inside.  So I ran out into the back yard, with my heart in my throat, (I had already lost one cat last year, it's not a safe area, with a busy street and coyotes around). I took Chip the dog outside and told him to find Charlie.  Within minutes, after him looking in the shed and picking up the scent, I saw Chip over by the side gate, with his tail wagging, looking under some boards, and I knew that he had found the cat!  Charlie was only to happy to be brought back in the house.
Here are some pics of Chip and Charlie. Charlie has gotten to be a big tom cat. Thank god I had him fixed.

That sucks, Cappy.  I think dogs have a better chance of turning up safe, then cats.  Hopefully someone took the dog in, and hopefully they will return the dog.
