I also believe that people who have "regrets" or unfinished business with people in this situation seem to have a harder time letting go.
I never missed the opportunity to tell my father that I loved him.

Quote from: CNN Article
Terri Schiavo's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, had begged to be with their firstborn while she drew her last breath but police denied their request, said Brother Paul O'Donnell, the Schindlers' spokesman and spiritual adviser.

I can't believe they weren't allowed to be with Terri in her final moments.

All I will say is may she rest in peace, and thank god that all of her pain is over.

I heard that her husband Michael went to school and got a degree in nursing to better understand Terri's care. She had a chemical imbalance that caused her heart to stop for 7 minutes.

I honestly didn't think that that were allowed to do that to a person. Didn't the doctor who permitted this only exam her from video tapes? Not in person? That's pretty fucking crazy. I personally would not want to be in a vegetative state...However, I would not hope for someone to starve me to death either.
I agree with Ranger150 on what he had to say too. Those annoying people with their "cause of the week" made we sick as well. I saw an interview with one of the protestors on Canada AM. The reporter asked her "Do you know Terri Schiavo? did she tell you she wanted to live?" and the protester got all flustered and went on with this rant about "of course she wants to live, everyone should have a chance to live! blah, blah, blah" with her rant. Next week you will probably see the same woman outside the Michael Jackson trial screaming about childrens rights and she is fighting for the kids of the world....If they want to take on human rights, do it in a productive manor...instead of hamming it up by screaming in front of whatever camera she can...
