I went out and bought a PS2 , cos i saw an Indy Car 2005 game :-)

Me likes IndyCar racing!

I have 6 computers , no games on any off them , i really don't play games ...some of them are awesome box's but not for gaming ...

So i was kinda happy to get a PS2......

Such a complete load of crap , graphics was rubbish, speed was slow , i just did not rate it ...

I played it once , thats it , i was under the assumption that i was goin to enter the "3'rd place" , yeah i'ts called sleep !

Boring , if the PS2 is where it's at , good luck , read a good book :-)
More realistic , and cheaper on electricity .....

Perhaps i expected too much , i did not expect crappy graphics, and a slow frame rate :-(

Back to Space invaders for me :-)

PS, is this in any way related to the above topic? :-)

Me currently fueled by Guinness :-)
Don't matter how little you know, someone out there know's even less !

I played a lot of D & D back in the '80's. We just rented The Lord Of The Rings ,The Third Age. You would probably like it ,as the battles and encounters are "turn based" ,just like in roll playing games.

I've never really enjoyed playing turned-based RPGs. There is one exception. I really enjoyed "Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars" for SNES:

I think it's because I was so accustomed to playing the Mario series as a side-scroller that it was cool to see the same characters in a new format. The switch from side-scroller to RPG was welcomed.

However I've never played any of the Final Fantasy titles. I'd probably have a greater appreciation for RPGs if I'd played D&D. By the time I was old enough for gaming Nintendo was introduced.

I played DND with a friend back in junior high.  The bastard owned all the books, and dice, etc.  He would play missions by himself to get his character built up then destroy me.  Fuck head.  The best part was drawing our characters.  We were both into drawing that kind of shit back then.

One of my "kids" plays World of Warcraft on PC. It looks quite cool and complex. Does anyone play this online?

World Of Warcraft is the latest expansion right? I don't play it online, but I did once. I own Warcraft "Tides of Darkness", I love it. I used to play it all the time.

Has anyone ever played Starcraft? Now that is a great game.
