what age is too "old" for dating? i don't think there's any limit really..it's all in your spirit.

thanx everyone..i didn't mean to be a "party pooper", it just seems if i say it out loud or write about it..it makes it more solid and real..believe it or not, that helps.

I've been single for a couple years now.  I moved to Peterborough and that was the end of a seven year relationship.  I still don't know what happened because we could still see each other on weekends.  He lives about 2 hours away which I didn't think was a big deal but I guess I was wrong.  Needless to say I don't think I will be able to trust again and that's why i'm staying single.  Plus i'm too old for dating.

VCGAL: IMHO - nobody is too old for dating! On the other hand depressed folks of all ages find it difficult to be socially active. If mere distance killed yr relationship - it is probably for the best.
I think the relationship between Randy and Mr. Lahey is  easily the strongest on the show - because they really need each other. Hang in there - you sound like a winner to me   ! Cheers!

I agree! You're never too old to date. After my dad died, my mom started to date someone ( after a good mourning period ) and he is a great guy! I'm very happy about it cause I didn't want to see her sad and alone for the rest of her life. Even my grandmother who is in her 80's dated guys!! So when the time is right.... get out there and snag yourself a man!
