Well... I wasn't gonna tell this because I thought it was gonna end on a happy note but I found out today it didn't. My friends luggage was lost or stolen on the way home from our trip. He had all his souveniers in the bag and all the stuff he took with him. But here's the kicker. I had some of my stuff in his bag too. :(   I didn't have enough room in my bag for all my stuff where I had bought "Freddy" and other stuff to bring home for friends and family. So I had to put in his bag: my Nike Air sneakers, my husbands Converse sneakers ( I just bought him for Christmas ), my jacket, night shirt, t-shirt , and my fav Christmas present this year - my Ricky Jersey!!!!!!
Hubby and I had to go home in the snowy cold in our sandals with socks on. Talk about cold and lookin' funny!  I had no jacket either so I had to buy a sweater in one of the stores.
We're hoping to get replacement money but I guess it's a wait and see sort of thing. We have insurance but I'm sure our friend will make sure his stuff is covered first. All I can say is......whoever took his bag, they better be enjoying my jersey!!!!
I put a few more pics up of my trip a couple days ago as well.

GOOD NEWS!!! My friend was in touch with the airline and apparently they will cover up to 1900.00 for items in lost luggage so there is enough money to get my stuff replaced! I'll be re-ordering my Ricky Jersey today!!   :D  \:D/

Hi everyone! This is the last time I will resurrect this thread......LOL! I HAD to tell you all what happened. They found my friends luggage!!! Here's the real funny thing. We were on West Jet but Air Canada called our friends today and said they found his bag....in FRANKFURT, GERMANY!!!    Pretty good......my Ricky Jersey has seen more places than I have!!  I just ordered another Ricky Jersey yesterday.....so I e-mailed Topsail today to see if I could get a Bubbles Jersey instead.....I'm gonna give it to my nephew. I'm so happy they found our stuff!!! Now I'm done with this thread!!      :D

Hey JR ,great news! I was thinking that the outcome would be bad and was crossing my fingers for you but not holding my breath. It's amazing how much baggage gets lost each year in the world. I read an article once and the #'s were shocking , but what was even more amazing is how many actually find their way back to their owners. Kinda like that Master Card add where the couple calls their suitcase frome across the world!
A buddy of mine once lost a bag on the way back from Mexico ,and made out quite well to the tune of a few grand. All that was in the bag were some dirty cloths and toiletries! All the valuable stuff was in his girlfriends bag
