Well I have a few pics put together to show you all. It's been such a busy day - going back to work, getting laundry done and going grocery shopping. But I promised some stories so here goes.
I took my TPB clothes with me in hopes someone would recognise the show. I had lots of ppl looking but some actually came over to chat becuase of it. Well when I was on my Outback Safari, someone yells BUBBLES! He got a kick out of my Bubbles shirt - knows I'm a big fan considering I have a TPB hat too.
The next day I had my Ricky shirt on when I was on another day trip to town and to Sosua Beach. A couple noticed it and she started laughing " I didn't notice you had a Ricky shirt on." They really liked the shirt, Her husband says " Not many ppl will know who they are around here." But I had ppl approach me because of the shirts, so it made me happy. I met a woman that works with Mike Smith's dad in a plant. She's from Truro. She said one day Bubbles ( she called him Bubbles....not Mike ) come to the plant to visit his dad and everyone swarmed him to get pictures. She said to someone, "Who is that? ". When they told her she was shocked where he looks so different without the glasses.
So when we get to the beach....well....I had some pile of attention because of my Ricky shirt. The locals didn't know the show obviously but I had some pile of comments. Ppl coming up to me and reading my shirt "Let's Go, Two Smokes." They got the biggest kick out of it! One asked me if it was my boyfriend.
So I told him it was a guy from a TV show in Canada called Trailer Park Boys. He thought it was quite neat. Others thought I smoked and wanted me to buy Cigars. One asked if I smoked everything. Then I had two guys hitting on me. One was very persistent - waited to talk to me again when I was leaving the beach.
My friend got a little annoyed cause of all the attention. She told me if she knew that shirt was gonna draw that kind of attention, she wouldn't have let me wear it. I thought it was funny!
I had my Julian shirt with me but didn't wear it cause it's black and it was so hot down there. We heard someone say the last day we were there, it was 110 degrees!
Anyway, had a blast and here are a few of the pics. When I have more time, I'll get more together. Hope ya like them!
