Screen Media Springs For Threequel ‘Trailer Park Boys: Don’t Legalize It’

After distributing 2006′s Trailer Park Boys: The Movie and its 2009 sequel Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day, Screen Media’s making it a threepeat with its acquisition of Trailer Park Boys: Don’t Legalize It. The films are based on the popular Canadian mockumentary series Trailer Park Boys, now prepping its ninth season tracking the shenanigans of the denizens of a Nova Scotia trailer park. The third installment of the film series follows Ricky (Robb Wells), Julian (John Paul Tremblay) and Bubbles (Mike Smith) as they attempt a series of get-rich-quick schemes after being released from jail. Series creator Mike Clattenburg directed and co-wrote the pic with Mike O’Neill and produced alongside Barrie Dunn and Michael Volpe. The Trailer Park Productions and Topsail Productions pic also stars John Dunsworth, Patrick Roach, Bernard Robichaud and Jonathan Torrens. In March Netflix picked up the original series run as well as an eighth and ninth season. Screen Media is plotting a September 5, 2014 theatrical release with day and date VOD debut. “It’s time for our U.S. fans to gear down on the liquor and ramp up on the dope,” said Clattenburg. Screen Media’s Suzanne Blech and Seth Needle negotiated the deal.

Yup^ I just ordered it from the TPB merch store. Paid $21 for express (7 days lol), which is more than the cost of the Blue Ray itself haha.

I still never understood op's post. I still want to see it on a big screen, but I think it'll be on Netflix even before September, however.

The official TPB store might be cheaper for US shipping, so check them out too: http://www.tpbstore.com/tpbstore/dvd-and-video-95/index.html

Is the DVD or Blu-ray region free or is it locked to region 1 or A for US and Canada.
We still can not get any of the movies over here in the UK!

Look into a region free blu-ray player (will play both Blu-ray & DVD) You can also do this with a PC - Blu-ray drive or convert to digital file & playback on media player.

Ordered the Blu-ray and DVD (for a friend) from amazon.ca. Cost me $47.27 USD total. Was at my house in two days...

Blu-ray $19.99
DVD     $16.99
S&H     $11.55
Total    $47.27

The blu-ray version has a textured slip-cover (Ricky, Julian, & Bubbles air fresheners) Nice touch!  :6paper:

Ordered my regular copy (not B R) through Amazon.ca on 7/30, received it on August 5th, shipped from Mississauga, Ont.
Total cost was $27.97 CDN, or $26.68 US.

I have a amazon.ca account for TPB DVD's and Swiss Chalet sauce mixes. Have never had a problem ordering.

I ordered through the boy's site. It worked fine on my US Blue Ray player. The case came soaked in water, which sucks because the other cover is nice as mentioned!

The movie is hilarious. Not a gut buster, but classic. Not like the other movies where they tried to introduce the audience to the characters either. They did a great job. The extras were funny as well, lots of them too.

The FB as well as Swearnet in the comments section had tons of negative feedback. Don't pay attention to it!!!!!

DO NOT WAIT TO BUY THIS!
