Great show....one of the best episodes of them all is when Donna catches Eric "getting busy" in the bathroom...

First few seasons were good while the writers kept it ground in the 70's.  Then that wasn't so important.  Like when Happy Days forgot it was a show in the 50's.
Ho Ho's and Ding Dongs are not the same thing!

I think it stayed good beyond just 2 seasons...like above (which is season 6) there were some good episodes. The problem with the show beyond about season 4 was it began to become "The Eric and Donna Saga Show" - where every angle the writers could possibly think of was written and rewritten.
Basically - after Chong was suddenly wrote out of the show - it went to hell in a hurry.

It was a great show. Life was like that back then. I can't speak for the Canadian buy here in the US we have lost most of our freedoms to enjoy life. Everything is illegal these days and jail time is crazy. I feel sad that my kids (all are grown) can't enjoy a beer or a joint without the risk of spending a year in jail and being fined thousands of dollars or having their car sold a auction by the police to raise money.
My sons next door neighbor called the police on him cause he had some black friends over at his house he said they were a gang.  Time sure have changed and not for the better.

Damn straight...when I was in high school (1979-83)...things were definitely not as uptight as they are now.

The Two and a Half Men bit on Family Guy was hilarious!

Whereabouts did Chong get written out?
