Would love to see the boys come back. As far as there being to many hurdles to overcome, well.... the only "real" hurdle is $$$. If the right folks have their heart in it, it can happen. I don't think it would be wise to just throw anything together and put it out there prematurely. The comeback has to be crafted carefully, and feel like putting on an old pair of jeans. Sure, time has passed and things have changed, but there is plenty of material to work with. I personally wouldn't want another movie or an animated TV show.
Start with an hour special... the boys get out of jail, time has passed, things have changed. Perfect introduction to an upcoming TV series. Take it from there.
Hell, we got Lucy & Randy's baby that would be a few years old by now. Even though Ricky & Lucy would still be together, Randy Jr. could still spend time with Randy and Mr. Lahey. Trinity could be old enough to have her own child. Corey & Trevor could come back. Bubble's parents could come back in some way and be involved for at least a few shows. Cyrus or some other cock could be another. My point is there are lots of ideas to explore. Mix the old with the new and viola... more TPB's.
Basically, if this show is to survive it has to be a TV show. Obviously some people aren't ready to let these characters go or they wouldn't be putting on live shows. The TV show has a big enough fan base. People I know don't get the movies, that's because they don't know the show. Put it back on TV... cable TV networks only care about the bottom line $$$, Showcase included. No such things as moral TV.... it's ENTERTAINMENT, it's supposed to be ridiculous and laughable. If those FUCK-TARDS the FART-DASHIANS can be on TV there is plenty of room for the boys.....
Sorry if most of this sounds like a rant. It's just that the boys have always been a good laugh and a healthy way to shed stress. The show was crafted very well, unique, original, and sorely missed.
