That was really great, Fishy.  There are indeed some hidden gems on this forum, and that was definitely one of them.  Looking forward to part 2!   8)

Thanks, Cdale :D The show is being pitched to the Comedy Network in Canada as we speak. If it got picked up and funded, I would freak out. How cool would that be?

That would be pretty cool, Fish.  Are you ready for fame?  And the groupies?   :perv1:  Are you ready to take your shirt off for every episode like Pat Roach?

I played in a band in the 80's so groupies I can handle :perv1: I'm NOT taking off my fuckin' shirt. I always wear a shirt. I've been putting together some more crazy outfits for the part even if it's just an indie production of the second episode.

Just found out that the production team sent the link to Darrell Dexter, the premiere of Nova Scotia. He e-mailed them back after he showed it to other officials on Capital Hill in Ottawa. This would be like having your Senator taking a movie that you were in and showing it in Washington. 8)

I just got back from a rehearsal for the next mini installment of $50. It's going to be filmed at a nightclub in Halifax this coming Saturday and will feature Tanar and Fishy in a rap battle.
We'll film it, edit it and upload it to youtube. I'll be sure to post a link when it's available.
Tyrone Parsons is going to be one of the judges. He played Jroc's DJ in TPB, T.

Thanks, David. I'm not into rap music and this is a bit out of my realm but Tanar and Sid coached me through it to the point where I'm comfortable. Should be good for a laugh.

Did the battle rap scene tonight. It was fun but scary at the same time. I had a bit of a problem but with editing, it should be fine. I'll post the link when it's available to view. Tyrone Parsons was one of the judges so I got to hang with him a bit. I may have talked him into joining the ORG. I'm hoping to have links to where you can buy his albums. He's got one available now and another drops in a month.
Can't wait for you guys to see me embarass myself.

So cool Fishy. Also with you hanging out with Tyrone! Don't know if it was mentioned before, but when Vanny and I were in Mexico in April, we met a cousin of his, Erica. She was down in PV, celebrating her 31st birthday by partaking of 31 beverages throughout the day. She made it, but was not seen until two days later.  :irishtoast:

You know, Fishy, when you told me you were "working for $50 and a toaster", I assumed that was the salary you'd been offered.

I was just talking to Tanar and he thinks it should be ready for uploading by the weekend. This isn't anyone's full time gig and we have to do it in our spare time. I appreciate the patience.

...and here it is. I hope you like it and remember, it's my character doing the battle rap. Not me. I'm not even into that music or culture. In fact, I had never heard of a battle rap until this skit came up.
Feedback is appreciated.

I'm with you on that Fishy.  Not my style of entertainment, ...but that was some clever funny stuff in the rhyming [rap battle].  Emenem has nothing to worry about, but for "50 bucks and a toaster" I would dub this scene '9 and a half mile'.  Seriously, I would.  :)
