2 Questions
« on: Jul 05, 2011, 06:36 PM »
I have two questions...

1.) Why does Ray have a Confederate flag on his wheelchair?

2.) Why is Trinity dressed up as a goth in Countdown to Liquor Day?

1. Being from the south, I can tell you that all self respecting trailer parks have a Confederate flag somewhere in the park. Usually used as curtains and furniture cover. Just part of trailer park life.

2. With Trinity, I can only guess that it's because she grew up and did the goth thing like so may teens do.

I know that, but why do it in Canada?

Maybe Ray met some special friends of the road down here during his travels as a truck driver.
Maybe just because it's funny and quirky.

Clattenburg, or Dunn would know, but I don't see them posting.

My view is like iheartricky said.
Some in the north take a cue from the south, knowing the confederate flag is a favorite of the rebellious, and Canada has probably seen it's share of rebel flags , and yet they have little , or no connection to
"The war between the states"(Civil war).
Canada has rebels too.  Be they woodsman, farmer, trucker, or trailerpark dweller.

Does anyone else hear Charlie Daniels music in their head? :6paper:

No clue on Trin's look.  But I'll think on it a spell.

During the American Civil War There were Confederate Raiders that operated out of Canada
They cross the border into New England rob banks & send the cash back to the CSA  At one point they seized & occupied the town of  St. Albans, Vermont

That's your history lesson for today
