Yeah GOF, every live event is an hour later here in Sunnyvale. :( If the games go into OT, I'm committed to having a really long next day. Let's hope the Canuck's take care of business tonight PDQ.

I am so excited! I am not used to a team that I like making it this far! I have had to listen to 90% of the playoff games on crappy internet radio at work...tonight I told them they'd have to drag me in (literally) if they wanted me to come in.

I told them I was not above kicking anyone's ass that would be sent to my house with the assignment of making me come in to work tonight.

They decided that I didn't have to come in tonight.  :mrgreen:

We both have overpaid/underachieving dmen in Ballard and Kaberle that barely play. Looks like Ballard's gonna get some ice time unless Hammer is OK.

Man Fish, I do not know what I would do if I had to watch the game that late. Of course I would, but it would make the whole drinking while watching thing a little more difficult. We have about 15 Canadians getting together at our friend's British pub tonight and since it will be over by around 10 our time I foresee some shit storms a brewin. What do ya get when ya mix 3 BC folks, 2 Albertans, 1 Manitoban, 4 Quebecois, 6 Ontarians a Newfie & 3 Yankees? We are about to see, but it does not look good for the pub eh.     How does a Vancouverite/Canucks Fan living overseas watch the Stanley Cup Playoffs? 

Talk "ice" hockey to anyone who will listen....

 Have someone who lives in a country that is passionate about their sports suggest a location that would probably air the series. {NHL isn't well known in Australia}

Hello Crown Casino....... which has a Sports Bar...open 24 hours.  This helps as the time difference has the games starting here at 10am. Called the casino and they said they have the station that is airing the games.  Just have to ask the bartender to change the channel. 

Been at my job for just over 4 months, but have earned 5 days vacation.  My manager appreciates my hard work so is willing to work around me (It's only us two in the dept) taking a few days off to "watch my team".    Of course a few days means....this Thursday.....maybe this Tuesday.....oh and maybe this Thursday.  :D

So yeah.....that's how......  ;)

That's awesome man! My old band toured over in Eastern Australia back in the summers of 98-99 and I was stoked to find an ice rink in Townsville, NQ when we were there. We were too busy when we were in Sydney so I was not able to look there. As for finding any hockey related stuff? Good luck. Everyone thought I was Ricky Ponting (AU Cricket) when we were there cause of my ghotee and whatnot. Good times eh.

Yeah congrats to the Bs. Way to play like a bunch of assholes after the whistle and do EXACTLY what your coach was giving us shit about. Even your 43 year old veteran was acting like a dick yesterday. And to Nathan Horton, if you admire your pass you are gonna get lit up in this league. 1/2 a second late or not, you should always keep your head up. Especially in the Stanley Cup Finals. It will be a different game tomorrow night because the refs are not gonna take shit from anyone from start to finish. The league has their eye on this big time now.

i wonder if anyone called 911 like the thousands of montrealers did after the chara hit..i agree too, let the finger thing go,but boston (the team i mean.. everyone i spoke to about the issue pretty much agrees just get on with the game).
 
who knows maybe they(boston) are using it as a rallying point.
a fresh bottle of vodka is chilling in the freezer for tomorrow nights game.
