....and boston redeemed themselves last night 3-1..one more game to win and they are in the final countdown! (cue the music for final countdown,go cheesey eighties music!)

The craziest thing is if we close out the Guppies tonight and TB can take BOS to 7 games, we could see Malhotra back for the finals. He practiced with light contact today and according to the VAN Province keeps progressing nicely. That will just make us that much more dangerous.

What a frickin night! Went to Bostons in Irving, TX to watch the game with other Canadians & missed most of the 1st due to the storm. 2 minutes into the 2nd we got ushered into the kitchen with all the other customers due to a tornado threat. 15 minutes later we were back in the bar, drinking our Molsons & watching the game. The satellite went out again & with about 3 minutes left in the game came back on. Luckily we got to see the game tying goal and the winner. I went crazy while most of the locals looked at us like we were idiots for cheering for a Canadian team. I am still stoked & could barely sleep cause of the excitement. Stanley Cup here WE come!!!

I am glad the canucks beat the sharks. I hate the sharks! I agree id love to see boston in the finals too.  Would really like to see the canucks take the cup too they deserve it!!!

HEY! WE are the little guys! Im embarassed to record the last time we won the cup.
Boston hasn't won it since 1972. Tampa friggin won it in 2004. They are not the underdogs. We don't hear anything about Boston here on the WESTcoast. Imma big Lucic fan, ( Vancity represent) and Id like to see him here since we see the Bruins uuuuuuh never. so....for tonite....GO BRUINS!

Not I says me. I am a BIG Ohlund fan and being that he will be in our Ring of Honor one day would love to see him win the Cup. And not sure if you have noticed, but Tim Thomas has had our number the past couple years and their D is much stronger than TBs. Either way it does not matter because whoever plays us is going to lose. And if we are the little guy, I would love to see what everyone else is being we were favored before the season started. Just sayin.

i would LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE to see boston play vancouver in the stanely cup finals ..it's been a long time for boston(which is an awesome hockey town by the ways).they seem to want to play in desperation mode,they seem to sit back when they get up by two goals,drives me nuts but i still love em.


i might have to get "lahey drunk" during this game!...

After Chara and Seidenberg who else do they have on D? Cause we have 3 lines that can score at any time and the deepest blue line in the league. We have a guy skating on the 3rd D pair that could be a 1 or 2 on alot of other teams and another guy whose been a healthy scratch that WAS a # 1-2 on his last team. Thomas better turn into Crease Jesus if they are gonna have a chance in this one. And they better work on their PP cause they are coming against not only the seasons best, but also the post season best. Can you say 28.1% overall and 52% against the Sharks? BBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAM!!!

That was when we were in the middle of a slump. Not saying it isnt possible, but we are a completely different team than we were then. Much like the B's. All I am saying is, if they dont fix their PP it will be a short series. They even said on NHL Network that TB's D had a good series against them and our D is the best in the league from 1-6. I see us splitting 1-1 in Vancouver, 1-1 in Boston and then us winning 2 straight to take it in game 6.

tampa bay said the same thing though, if boston dosen't  have a power play they are doomed.

and we shall see if your visions into the future turn out to be true i don't put much faith in peoples predictions..

Spoke a little too soon. Mike Gillis said today that Malhotra is back to day-to-day and will be re-evaluated again tomorrow. Which makes me think it is a little of a smoke screen ALA the Bolts playing Smith in game 6. All about gamesmanship now.

Damn Fish I feel sorry for yous guys who have to stay up late as fuck to watch the game. A few of us are headin to Boston's to watch it. Taking my Nucks flag with me just to piss off the locals although they could give 2 shits about hockey.
