Seems interesting. I like the cynical approach. The American Beauty style tornado was cool. I saw a small bit of the India one the other day. I'm gonna check it out.

Love Karl Pilkington!  He really makes the show.  You know it's going to be good when it involves Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.  I've seen a few epi's so far in the first season and it looks like a second season has been given the green light.

No doubt, this is a funny show, Karl is just great.  Ricky and the boys would be awesome, maybe they could travel in one of those big cocksuckers in the ocean.

Brazil was hilarious. Apparently they are going to be making another series around Karl's bucket list, and send him off to do a bunch of things you should try before you die. Can't wait for that.

The Ricky Gervais Show is worth watching/listening too - Karl's description of the monkey going into space made me laugh so hard I was sobbing.

My wife laughed out loud also Tiggy. I hope Karl stays "real" and his head doesn't get too big, know what I mean. Funny show.

I've already seen this series, and it's really good. Hippos, hugs and bungee jumps = hilarious.  8)

The last "best of" ep (which are usually boring as you've seen it all before) is great.

As an aside, Ricky Gervais' new show Life's Too Short (about diminutive actor Warwick Davis) is definitely worth a watch too.

Karl will be playing a character (which I guess is loosely based on himself  ) in a new comedy-drama from Ricky Gervais, entitled "Derek". Channel 4 will be airing the pilot in the UK on the 12 April:

I've heard some good reviews, hope it gets made.

I really enjoyed Derek. Funny, touching, and very sad in places. I think the feedback for this pilot might be important in getting a full series commissioned, so find it however you can and let @rickygervais know on Twitter what you thought of it!

Derek has just been commissioned by Channel 4 for a full series. Great news!

Of course we'll never see it in Canada (not legally, anyway....)
