I seen all the Trailer Park Boys episodes a million times. I still love them but is there any other show current or old that is kinda anything like Trailer Park Boys? I have nothing to watch while having a drink anymore lol. Trailer Park Boys is mostly a Canadian show so if you don't know what I'm talking about or if you don't know for sure a show that is like trailer park boys please don't answer. i asked this question on another forum and somebody suggested Kenny vs Spenny? i like that show too but its nothing like Trailer Park Boys. I already have Corner Gas too lol

Is there any shows that are like Trailer Park Boys alot? please help

Eastbound and Down is another show that try's to have a trailer park boys vibe. The humor is darker but the main character is a blatant rip off of the Ricky character in TBP.

Ideal is a British show that just finished season 6. Similar to TPB in there is an ensemble cast with several main characters.

Oh yeah, and how could I forget FUBAR? OK, that's a movie too. I can't think of many TV shows that come close to the TPB 'genre'.

Have to dissagree on Eastbound and Down being like TPB but I do find it to be a funny show.

There's a comedy film called Poor White Trash that was filmed in my hometown. My brother (who, in his youth, was Ricky's twin) was an extra in the movie. Filming took place in trailers, trailer parks, the mall... there are kids on bikes (the main characters), a one-eyed wrestler, petty crimes in the park, a convenient's store, a car that catches fire, so many similarities it is amazing. It came out in 2000, right before TPB. It is almost a prequel to TPB. I actually emailed the director back and forth for a while trying to get him to come speak at our university, but that fell through. And Jaime Pressly is in it, who is also in My Name Is Earl. Check it out!

And, yes, I've worn that DVD out as well. Brilliant fucking film. Is it acting or some kind of documentary? You decide.....

Although its not TPB its the funniest comedy in years and in places as good as TPB "The inbetweeners" (SERIES).. season 4 starts this year 9.1 out of 10 on imdb one of the highest rating on there

Have to agree with Hashdriveway, Hardy Bucks is good, obviously influenced by TPB, the action has moved to the west of Ireland , some great touches and memorable characters without being a complete rip off.

That show is great and probably the closest thing to TPB that the US has had the balls to put out.

Les Bougon C'est Aussi Ca La Vie if you speak French, which I do not adequately enough to be able to catch everything and enjoy it to the level I can enjoy TPB. I can pick any episode of TPB to watch for the 3rd, 6th, 8th or 12th time and I will notice something hilarious that I'd failed to notice in previous viewings. With Les Bougon just understanding what they're saying absorbs most of my concentration.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks Danny McBride absolutely rides Robb Wells' jock, and Kenny Powers essentially IS what you'd have if the character of Ricky got trapped in a trite American high concept. Not that he's not funny - Your Highness looks like it's gonna be pretty good. It's just that his look, mannerisms and delivery are really similar to Robb's and, in my view, slightly inferior.

Didn't I read somewhere that Gummo is Mike Clattenburg's favorite movie?

I have to admit that I dislike Gummo intensely - I always enjoyed Harmony Korine more as a personality than I liked any of his movies. I think he tries too hard to make non-movies with mixed results - I liked Julien Donkey-Boy, it's a perfect representation of schizophrenia.

The original black and white Trailer Park Boys movie seems to borrow a lot of elements from Gummo, though, especially the pet assassin thing. The part where Cory and Trevor come over to score coke and want to leave but Julian won't let them is also disturbing in a similar way to Gummo. The characters were different in that movie - Ricky was actually the one who had his shit together, and Julian was a lot darker than he ended up being, even sociopathic. Randy was a totally different guy, obviously.

Thanks for burning that image into our heads.

I think Danny McBride is heading down the same path as Jack Black, he used to be kinda cool and funny, but then started accepting the bigger Hollywood movies... Robb only appears in cool movies.

I watched the whole first series of The Inbetweeners recently - it does have shades of TPB, and it's pretty funny!

One of his favorite movies. He is on record as saying "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" is his favorite. There are various references to that movie in the show.

I was not very thrilled with the one Workaholics I saw[drug test day]. Hollywood type acting ruins so many great themes, I think.
Cool idea, but to smooth in delivery to let me believe for a moment, that they believe themselves. TPB ... is quite ... the benchmark!

It could have been worse. I'll watch it if nothing else is on.
