We're in post production right now of the " Targa Newfoundland " rally race that JP Tremblay and Robb Wells took part in.  We'll follow the boys as they prepare to race in a brand new Porsche Cayman S.

For sure it will be finished for the spring.  We will keep everyone up to date.  As well on youtube we shot daily updates during the rally which you can view.  I think there's like ten of them.

I saw some of a preview of it on Motoring TV on TSNHD, it had Robb, JP, Mike Smith, and Randy.  Then it went to clips of cars crashing during the race.

The episode hasn't aired yet, Motoring TV hasn't listed it yet.  I saw the preview (the first link) on todays show which was a new episode, so I assume it will air some time soon.

the speed show showed only a few cars but did show jp and robb at the end of the show driving in a parade and i think one time during the show.

Robb  Wells and JP Tremblay, who play Ricky and Julian, respectively, on the "Trailer Park Boys," drive a Porsche Cayman S in the Targa Newfoundland Rally in a Motoring special to be aired Sunday, July 10 at 12:30 p.m. Newfoundland time, on TSN. 

Targa Newfoundland covers more than 2,200 kilometres through the streets and rural roads of  Newfoundland.

According to a news release, the popular Canadian automotive series "Motoring" captures all of the excitement with "Motoring Targa Newfoundland" - a special one-hour documentary that will premiere on TSN Sunday.

"To me it's  about finally fulfilling a life-long dream of JP's and mine to compete in and finish a rally," said Wells. "At least one of those dreams will come true in Newfoundland - two if JP can keep the car on the road."

"Motoring"  has been featured on TSN for 24 years. It is produced by Toronto-based  Bradford Productions.
"The 'Motoring' team is always pushing  boundaries in their automotive coverage," said Dave Capling, programming manager with TSN. "We are looking forward to seeing how Robb and JP  fair in the Targa Newfoundland rally."

Additional broadcast times  include Sunday, July 10 at 11 p.m. ET on TSN2 and Wednesday, July 13 at 3  p.m. ET on TSN.

The release notes there will also be an uncut and  uncensored DVD version made available.

Drat, lost all of it!   They did show Robb and JP a few times (maybe 4 or 5) including quick shots of the Porsche.  Just as well I didn't post before, as I didn't even consider the result spoilers I threw in.  They did great though.

What a great doc. Nice car, good driving and Robb did a good job being the navigator. Throw in some typical TPB humour and it's a fun hour. I highly recommend watching it when it replays.
