They just started airing the show in Ireland...

I don't know if that will generate an overseas fan base but you never know.

Cheers fishy.

It has been on UK tv sporidically, but on satellite tv. And shown at like 3am.

If a UK 'Freeview' channel picked it up i KNOW it would have a massive following over here.

Being a TPB fan in the UK is kinda like being in a 'secret society'!!

But it CAN be kinda cool. About a year ago i was in a pub in my home town of Carlisle when i used the word "Refuckulate" , and from over the other side of the pub a girl who i'd never met came over and said "I couldn't help but overhear your conversation, but do you know of a show called "Trailer Park Boys"? After which we talked about it for hours, much to the confusion of each of our group of friends!!!

But if given a proper airing over here, it would be HUGE!!!

You're quite welcome spiffsta. I love using words and phrases from the show for that particular reason.
If you think you know of a promoter who would spend the money to get the boys or Randy/Lahey over your way for a show, I can look up their agent's details for you. I think it's buried in one of the threads about them touring.
Cheers,
Fishy

Hell, they still haven't come down here and I am just across Lake Erie! I mean, I share a GREAT LAKE with Canada and can't see them here.  :cries:

I tell ya', they come to Ontario and I am so there. I'll be wearing my new Sunnyvale Hash Hockey jersey.  8)

I'm planning on visiting friends in Ontario next year - a place called 'deep river'. If they are touring i'm gonna make sure i can catch a show. Also want to go to Halifax on a 'pilgrimage'. A beer at 'Bubbles Mansion' is a must!!

Re - TPB shirts. I've got the sunnyvale one and the freedom 35 one. Going to get the "Dirty Burger" one soon!

hey Hazza,

I kinda 'convert' people to TPB. I get them round to my place, show them the first series and after that they get hooked!!

We should have a UK TPB meet-up for all the British fans, get drunk as FUCK and eat pepperoni and Cheeseburgers!!! ;-)

Have a great Birthday mate!!

for my b day last year i opened a bottle of southern comfort and drank some in the taxi to town then to the metal gig lol, which my mate was promoting so i guzzled the rest in the venue haha in the toilet.

Would be interesting to see how many UK fans are out there, even casuals. I have gotten a couple of people hooked, it took 2 or so episodes but it worked  8)
