I got a facebook message from Hunnerbun and I haven't been having the problem she's experiencing but I wanted to know if any of you others experienced it...

"I keep getting this error for the .org.
Oh My FUCK! An Error Has Occurred!
The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you.
Is it just me?"

Thanks,

OK...I got in this morning.  we will see what happens as the day goes on.
I was able to log in yesterday afternoon.  I always stay logged in and check in periodically.  When I get here I click the show unread posts since last visit and it brings up all the new posts and it is all good.  Yesterday when I did that it took me to the old site and the maintenance page.  I cleared my cache and cookies and rebooted my computer and Ii could still only get the old site.
Now this morning when I clicked the bookmark it took me right to the site and it opened no problem.  I find this odd because I didn't shut down my laptop last night.  I was downloading a torrent so I left it on all night then when I needed to come to work I only hibernated it ( which is what I usually do all the time because it takes for friggin ever to boot up).
I will keep my eye on it and see how she goes.
My God...what a drunk horror show!

Glad you're back HB. Cat-dog has been doing a bunch of work on the site and I see changes today as well.

Glad you guys are digging the top banner. I'm aiming to create one for each theme (something with booze, something for dope, etc..)

Just wanted to let everyone know (if you haven't poked around already) that there's a few options for themes now.

To choose a theme, you can click on this link -> http://www.trailerparkboys.org/forums/index.php?action=theme;sa=pick
I've included a small thumbnail of each theme to give you a general idea what to expect.

So far 'Sexy Black T-Shirt' has returned (black background, white/grey text, rum glasses).

'Sunnyvale Blues' is the default theme which most of you are seeing currently (lighter look, lots of blue, rum glasses).

'Dope Flavoured Rum' is back as well - it's basically Sunnyvale Blues with the colours tweaked green and uses pot leafs for new/old topic status on the main index (instead of the rum glass).

I'll also be working on getting a kitty theme going, and hopefully bring back the Bumble Bee/Cheeseburger theme from the old forum as well.

I would love it if the cheeseburger theme returned.  That's the one that I used before.  Thanks for all of your work cat-dog :)

Hey Andrew, would Drunk and on Drugs 'blueberry' theme be available in the future? Not to give you any more work or anything...!    :D

Blueberry theme?! I like that idea.  8)

It is starting to look like home again CatDog. Great job!

Now I have to go order Ricky's book from the tour. I didn't get a chance to buy it before; now I must own it.  Every time I see Tiggy's signature it reminds me that I NEED that book. My kids will love it. We have a pet Guinea Pig...guess I shouldn't read the book word for word to them though.

I'm with everyone else.  Like that new banner.

The idea of a kitty theme sounds great to me.  I'm on here at work sometimes **ssshhhhhhhh** and if I happen to get caught I'd rather them see kitties than big mj leaves.  ;)

I'm wondering if I'm the only one having this problem since I haven't seen it mentioned.. but to me, the forum does not seem as wide as it used to.. did it decide to knock off the cheese burgers & chicken fingers and go on a diet?

Like with the new banner (which looks awesome from what i can see) part of it is cut off.. I took a screen shot of that so you can see what I mean

http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/6310/tpborg1.jpg

and also, I took another one where you can see posts and how much smaller it seems.. Also for example in tiggy's sig there is now a scroll bar to view the whole signature.. here is the other screen shot I took

http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/5972/tpborg2.jpg

if its just me having this problem and if so is there a way to fix it in the settings?

I didn't test the other themes out until now and they look nice! Unfortunately no matter which one I selected and used the problem was still there.

I thought maybe it was just firefox as I have been having some Issues lately with it, so I tried to view the site with Internet Explorer as well and It still looked the same way as it does in the screen shots I posted  :(

I tried a few thing to try and make my view the same as yours but had no luck. :? I hope this is an isolated and completely fixable error. I'll keep digging bud.

I changed my screen resolution and that made the banner and signatures do what you guys are describing but the font size also changed to be bigger. I don't think your screen resolution is the issue.

Yeah I hope its fixable as well. It's not a huge problem for me but I'd love to be able to view the forum the way its supposed to look. Thank you very much for doing your best to try and get this issue resolved :D

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one having these problems, but that sucks that you are also experiencing these issues.. Yeah, I noticed my sig had the scroll bar as well, but thank you for pointing it out. Hopefully everything can be fixed soon, but for now thats just the way she goes lol

Yeah I was wondering if it could have had something to do with the resolution I'm using (1024 by 768) but I didn't think so since the forum looked normal to me before it was upgraded.  Thank you again for lookin into this for us!
