 :congrats: Congratulations Canada!  That was an awesome game.  I actually thought team USA was playing better in the 4 on 4, but Sid is now a superstar.  The truely great always come though in the big games and they don't get much bigger than that.

it could have went any way in OT with 4 on 4.  All it would have taken was a slapshot that missed the net and head the other way.  Getzlaf was awesome, Toews, Weber, big Joe, even Pronger played good today.

Great game and way to end it.  Team USA looked pretty pissed getting the silvers.  As I would have been too.

Overall, USA sets a record for medals, Canada with record Golds.

Yes it could have gone either way with the 4 on 4 in OT but go back and watch we had possession for a much longer time and had more scoring chances.

Anyway it shouldn't have gone to OT, but Canada likes dramatics and winning things in OT or with only a few seconds left in the game, fucking drive me nuts!

I mentioned on Facebook that the US analysts said only 3 of the US players would have made Team Canada.  I can only think of Miller.  Maybe Kane but he would have been a long shot.  Who would have been the third?

Rafalski maybe instead of Pronger.  I don't think miller would have been our starter over Brodeur or Lou.

Langenbrunner is a quality guy to have on the checking line.

I spoke to a few people at work the concensus seems to be Miller, Parise and Kane, if 3 were to make Team Canada.  Of course Parise is only American because his Canadian father played for Minnesota in the NHL, a familiar story.

Rafalski and Langenbrunner are past their prime and would not have made Team Canada even when they were younger, although they both did have a great tournament.

Most of the experts figured the US had the advantage in nets with Miller, even before the Olympics started.  He lived up to the hype.

I was a traitor here in PA, I was rooting for Canada all the way.

Sidney Crosby was born for greatness, wasn't he? Way to go Sid!

Now to work on those back to back Stanley Cups. The Pens picked up
 Jason Leopold today for a low second round pick.

I'm watching the 2010 Winter Paralympics,  Exciting show! But listening to John Furlong  trying to speak French is making my ears bleed.
