Where do they get those huge sticks of pepperoni they use on the show? I can't find them anywhere.

You'll find them in the Deli section of your favorite grocer. Just ask the Deli peeps and they'll be more than happy to point the way.

You might be sexy Julian....but you can't teach me anything about liquor....

You're right Sarge. They buy their pepperoni from Brothers. They sell pepperoni to grocery stores as well. Brothers deliver pepperoni to the restaurant I work in and the delivery guy told me they deliver pepperoni to the boys....for their Marquee Parties. :)

The only stuff i can find here locally in manitoba is the size of a dime or "hot rod" size. The stuff rick has on the show looks as big as a toonie :?

Yeah Brothers is local to Halifax.  I'm not sure if it available outside that area.  I did find some Chris Brothers pepperoni here in Ottawa at a Sobeys.  Sobeys is a Nova Scotia based grocery chain.  The one in Ottawa carried some Chris Brothers pepperoni, which also comes from the Halifax/Dartmouth area.  It is very similar to Brothers.  Anyway if there is a Sobeys in your area you can try there.

For any of our non-Canadian friends, the one dollar coin is called the loonie because there is a picture of a loon on the "tails" side.  I would have thought it would have made more sense to spell the "toonie" as "twonie", but it is spelled "toonie".

Yeah, that dime-sized "food" is gross.

My dad is from Croatia and one of his specialties is Pepperoni Soup.  He goes to his local meat market and buys a huge ring of pepperoni and then places it in a mega-sized pot and cooks it with tomatoes, tomato paste, celery, onions, carrots, potatoes, spaghetti and certain spices and it ends up as Pepperoni Soup.  Absolutely yummy as the pepperoni is whole and moist and the veggies/noodles are soft.  It's the only reason I haven't emancipated him. Heh.

Cheers,
B.

Check you out Shake....you know your shit! The pepperoni is similar because I think one of the Chris Brothers went on his own to make Brothers.....I'm sure that's what one of the delivery guys told us. We had bought from Chris Brothers at first and now Brothers delivers to us. I'm very impressed!  And 250rtone, I have to apologise because I didn't check to see where you lived. But hopefully you'll be able to find Chris Brothers pepperoni. Good Luck! :D

The only Chris Brothers pepperoni they had here in Manitoba is what I brought when I came here last Christmas.  I carried 10lbs onto the plane!

I wish there was a way to get some sent here. 250rtone is right, the only stuff you can get here is shite.  I make homemade pizza a lot and it just is not the same without the good pepperoni.

The closest Sobey's that I know of is in Brandon, so thats no good for me...its an 8 hr drive away!
Hmmm.... I wonder if they would ship me some.  LOL COD pepperoni!
My God...what a drunk horror show!

My boyfriend just shoved a pepperoni under my nose and  said "Smell that baby! mmmmmmm!" Last night.....He got agitated in the Deli section of the grocery store because they are remodeling and he could not find his Pepperoni in under 15 seconds. And He said" Why do they gotta move my Pepperoni around those C-suckers!" And I clenched my teeth like Jools and said "Shuddup!"

Yes, I confess - I did once cause the property of The Gov't of Canada to be altered - one toonie (as in Looney Tunes) became two objects. I am glad to have this oppourtunity to clear my conscience.

Believe me it's not fun carrying around all that change in your pocket.  I'm always exchanging 2 toonies and a loonie for a $5 bill. I bet strippers were really happy when the $2 coin was introduced. Now the smallest bill you can slip into their g-strings is a 5. Not that I'd know anything about that.

I was in highschool when the toonie was introduced.  I knew guys who popped out the centres and wore the ring on a gold chain around their necks. Ya you're cool, buddy.

There is nothing like ripping in to a foot long, two inch thick log of pepperoni, grabbing a handful of chicken chips and relaxing while watching the TPB's on a sunday.  Most grocery stores will have some kind of giant pepperoni.  Check the weiner sections and you'll find some.  In a pinch, Kielbasa could suffice.

I hear you, Hunnerbun. I can't find any pepperoni around here. And unlike Shake, I can't get pepperoni from the Sobey's in this town. The Sobey's across the street doesn't carry pepperoni. All they have is that dried up shit that is covered in plastic and sits out on the shelf next to the canned goods. That's not fuckin' pepperoni. And nobody knows what pepperoni is around here. There isn't a deli counter in town that has real pepperoni. I am not sure if it is a southern Ontario thing, or a Kitchener-Waterloo thing. This area was settled by Germans and, as a result, sausage is a big thing around here. I have never seen more varieties of Schneider's sausage in my life! Sausage is not an adequate substitute for Chris Brother's T.N.T. pepperoni!

If you have a Hasty Mart or something like that, (Rabba, TO Fines Foods), you should be in luck to find some good pepperoni!
